Point to Point

Wireless links that connect your sites without digging

Point-to-point wireless links join two buildings, or bring internet to a remote gate, yard or camera, with a fast, dedicated connection and no trenching or leased lines.

Point to Point

Connect buildings, not cables

When two sites are too far apart or too costly to cable, a dedicated wireless link can carry your network across. We survey the path, choose the right equipment and align and secure the link so it stays stable.

  • Building-to-building and site-to-site links
  • Line-of-sight surveys before we quote
  • Secured, dedicated links, not shared Wi-Fi
  • Masts, mounting and weatherproof installation

Questions

Point to Point questions

How far can a wireless link go?
It depends on the equipment and the path. Distances from a few hundred metres to many kilometres are possible with a clear line of sight. Our survey tells you what is realistic for your sites.
Does weather affect it?
Quality links are designed to handle rain and wind. Very heavy weather can reduce speed on long links, and we will explain the margin built into your design.
Is it fast enough for cameras and offices?
Yes. Links are sized for your needs, from carrying a few cameras to joining two offices on a full network.
Do we need a licence?
Many links use licence-exempt bands. We will confirm what applies to your link and equipment before you commit.
